Enter this one-hectare estate, a haven of calm and serenity, in the heart of Chonas L'Amballan. The Domaine de Clairefontaine is pleased to welcome you in one of its 35 rooms, in classic or contemporary style depending on the chosen location. The establishment claims a philosophy where conviviality, discretion and quality of services are the key words.
Hotels 3 or 4 stars in Isère, our establishments are distinguished by their styles, classic or contemporary, their stories respecting the authenticity of the region and their atmospheres entirely dedicated to your well-being.
Pets are accepted in the rooms, with a supplement of 15 € per day per pet (not allowed in the gastronomic restaurant of the Domaine, accepted in the bistro du Cottage).

Places of pleasure for gourmets, the restaurants of the Domaine de Clairefontaine offer you a gourmet break near Vienne, at Philippe Girardon's table or at the bistro.
The gastronomic restaurant, a Michelin-starred table, reveals a cuisine with Dauphiné references in a French-style décor, decorated with noble materials.
It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in low and mid season (except for groups and seminars on request). From mid-June to mid-August, it will be open on Tuesday evening and closed on Wednesday lunchtime.
The restaurant is also closed on Sunday evenings in November and December.
Authentic, chic and cosy, the Bistrot is a contemporary place in Isère that offers a service, from breakfast to dinner, on the theme of simplicity and freshness (open 7 days a week).

In a quiet, beautiful green setting with trees three hundred years old, Laurence and Philippe Girardon warmly welcome you to their estate in Isère. Formerly a haven of rest for the Bishops of Lyon, the Domaine de Clairefontaine now extends over one hectare in the heart of the village of Chonas l'Amballan, and is home to three hotels and two restaurants.
The Domaine de Clairefontaine is afamily home, with its crackling parquet floors, precious objects, master paintings and family anecdotes.
